When a woman is pregnant, we also say she is “expecting.” She is excitedly looking forward to the arrival of her baby with anticipation, dreaming about it, visualizing holding or feeding the baby. When she passes someone pushing a stroller, she can see herself doing the same thing. She can just feel those little hands and feet and kiss that soft little face, as if she had already delivered her baby.

You Get What You Expect – Fear or Faith?
Are you “expecting” good or bad? FAITH and FEAR work the same way, both pull in or reel in what you are expecting or anticipating to happen. Faith pulls in good things, what you want to happen (answers to prayers); Fear pulls in bad things, what you don’t want to happen (sickness, bankruptcy, divorce, etc.). So the next time you find yourself “meditating” on something over and over again and “saying” it’s inevitable to happen…watch your words because “you will HAVE what you SAY!” (Mark 11:23) “Confess” with your mouth, and “Believe” (expect) with your heart…and it will be “delivered” to you! (Romans 10:9-10)
