Beware of the #1 Sin… Pride!

This year we celebrated Yom Kippur on September 24-25. It is known as The Day of Atonement, and is considered the holiest day of the year. It is a day to fast and pray, repent of our sins and ask forgiveness from God and our brethren. I felt God’s Spirit prompt me to fast and pray as well. In my prayer time I heard the Spirit say, “I want you to repent of pride for yourself and for the Church.”

Proverbs 6:16-19 (AMP) says, “Six things the Lord hates; seven are a repulsive abomination unto him: 1) A proud look [the attitude that makes one overestimate oneself and discount others], 2) a lying tongue, 3) hands that shed innocent blood, 4) a heart that creates wicked plans and schemes, 5) feet that run swiftly to evil, 6) a false witness who breathes out lies [even half-truths], and 7) one who spreads discord (rumors) among the brothers.”

The #1 Thing on God’s Hate List is Pride!

When We Removed God

God is the Glue that holds it all together. Without God, everything falls apart. And you wonder why our personal lives and our world is falling apart?

No God… No Glue!

15 He (Jesus) is the exact living image [the essential manifestation] of the unseen God [the visible representation of the invisible], the firstborn [the preeminent one, the sovereign, and the originator] of all creation. 16 For [a]by Him all things were created in heaven and on earth, [things] visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [that is, by His activity] and for Him. 17 And He Himself existed and is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. [His is the controlling, cohesive force of the universe.] Colossian 1:15-17 AMP

9/11 – Is Fear Terrorizing You?

God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

9/11/2001 We all know where we were 20 years ago today when terror struck on our own front door… and our lives have never been the same since. Everyone banned together to rescue those trapped, to help the hurting, to track down the perpetrators, and to help rebuild our lives again in the aftermath. We will be forever grateful! XO

Self-Government is the Answer

Self-Government not More Government

Democracy as defined by Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth president of the United States of America, is government of the people, for the people, and by the people.

I was reminded of a letter the Holy Spirit gave me to write to President Trump before he became President about Self-Government. It is relevant today, now more than ever. (See attached below.) Especially with the division over our presidential elections and the country being divided on how the government should be run, the message of this letter rings so true.

We don’t need MORE Government… we need SELF Government! (continued on page 2)

God is Bigger Than Any Problem You Can or Cannot See

[VIEW VIDEO]

No problem is too big that our God cannot handle it! He is always there for you and you can rest assure that He is taking care of everything that concerns you, and everything is going to be alright! He will help walk you “through” whatever situation you are facing today, and give you the grace and strength to go “through” it and not die in the middle of it. He specializes in Happy Endings. So stick with Him and He will help you make it to the other side!

Recognize a Spirit of Division

With so much tension in the world these days, it’s easy to forget who our real enemy is. Remember that Satan is the one who comes to steal our joy and peace, kill our hopes and dreams, and destroy our health, families and future; but Jesus came to give us life to the full, until it overflows (John 10:10). Recognize who subtracts and divides, and who adds and multiplies.

  • – The Devil is (d)evil. He always takes something away from us.

+ God is Go(o)d. He always adds something to our lives.

“Be alert and vigilant, because the devil is your adversary and roams around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour” (I Peter 5:8).

Don’t Forfeit Your Benefits!

“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.” Psalm 68:19

Get All That’s Coming To You

Why would you forfeit some of your employee benefits, when they are FREE, already paid for? You don’t have to pay a thing… no money out of your pocket!

I saw on the news recently that over 50% of people in the workforce “FORFEIT” their vacation time – to the tune of BILLIONS! That’s crazy! Why would you do that? I get it… we all get caught up in our “workload” and can’t keep up. There is “no time” to go on “vacation.” If I can’t keep up with my regular workload working long hours every day, how would I ever get caught up if I went on vacation? Yep, that’s the script! You know the drill…

Who’s Talking Now?

God created man after His own image (Genesis 1:26-28). God is 3-in-1 (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit) and He created man 3-in-1 (Spirit, Soul, Body).

Our Soul consists of our Mind, Will, and Emotions, in other words our Thoughts, Desires, and Feelings. We need to be able to sort and differentiate “who’s talking” so we know how to respond appropriately. Continue reading “Who’s Talking Now?”

Rewrite Your Life

This morning when I woke up the Spirit said, You can either have:

  • Self-Defeating Thoughts – or – Award-Winning Thoughts
  • Limiting Beliefs – or – Liberating Beliefs
  • Confining Actions – or – Propelling Actions

It’s Your Choice! What YOU believe rules you or dominates you. It has a domino effect…

Self-defeating thoughts turn into…

Limiting beliefs which turn into…

Confining actions or behavior

Keeping you stuck in the mud, spinning your wheels but going nowhere

You’ve Got All the Power You Need

Plug It In, Plug It In!

I was plugging in my sweeper to vacuum the house, and the Holy Spirit said, you “have” power in your house! (not going to have power or not connected to the power). You already have power, and you are already connected. Plug into the outlet and use it!
.
The power is there… when you need it! Like putting things in a refrigerator or safe to keep them until you need them, power is also available, out of sight, but close by whenever you need it. You don’t have to go get in your car and drive somewhere to get power. You don’t have to call the power company to connect the power line to your house. You don’t have to go borrow power from your neighbor…You’ve Got Power! You don’t need it all the time, but when you do, it’s nice to know that you have it.
